We’re delighted to introduce the first annual American Dream Scholarship from Boundless! The application is open to students who are currently attending, or are applying to attend, an accredited U.S. community college, four-year college, or university, and who fulfill the requirements of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
DACA and TPS students are often not eligible for the most commonly used types of federal student financial aid, while other sources of funding are often restricted to tuition reimbursement.
The Boundless American Dream Scholarship will go to two exceptionally promising DACA or TPS students who want to make the world a better place through technology, and will be flexible enough to accommodate each student’s own vision and needs (e.g. tuition assistance, coding boot camp, online courses, etc).
We’re offering $1,500 each to two students. Learn more about it here!
State-based aid may also be available, depending on where the student resides and studies. The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) has a good resource that lists immigrant student benefits by state.
